Jet pump for deep wells

Deep wells are essential for providing water to these remote places with poor access to other sources. The penetration of groundwater is challenging from such great depths, but jet pumps would make this task feasible. These specialized pumps rely on the motive pressure of water to lift water from great depths to enable it to reach distant communities.

Powerful jet technology meets deep water challenges

Jet pumping high volume of water from deep in the well Juice / Images How a jet pump operates A jet pump. A pump draws a vacuum on the things to be moved. It pulls the water up from the bottom of a well… like a vacuum on steroids. High-pressure water is then pumped out through a smaller pipe at the bottom of that well. This small opening is called a nozzle, and when water passes through that nozzle it produces such a strong sucking action as to lift the water up from under the pump itself where people can access. It also allows the extraction of water from very deep underground.
